Joshua (Josh) Deaton

Josh joined The Deaton Agency in 2019 to work alongside his father, Bobby. In 2024, he launched TDA Insurance Group, which serves as the commercial insurance division of The Deaton Agency. His vision for the Deaton Agency, in conjunction with TDA Insurance Group, is to provide businesses with relief and assurance, knowing their entire insurance portfolio is being handled appropriately, thoroughly, and with the highest level of care.

Josh is active in the Waco community, serving as a member of the Midway Youth Sports Association, Leadership Waco XLII, and previously as a board member for the Greater Waco YMCA.

Josh and his wife, Alyssa, returned to Waco in 2019 and are raising their three children. They are active members of Highland Baptist Church. The Deaton’s enjoy youth sports, local community activities, and cheering on Baylor athletics.

Josh combines professional expertise with a relationship-driven approach, guiding families and businesses through complex insurance decisions with clarity and confidence. He is passionate about ensuring every client feels supported, informed, and valued—carrying forward the Deaton legacy while meeting the evolving needs of clients across Texas.
